We at Still Waters Church
thank you so much for your help and support of those with little in our community.
In the Holy Scripture, people
of faith have always been encouraged to help those who are the poorest in our society.
Consider: He who helps the poor
lends to the Lord; and He will pay back what he has given. Pro. 19:7
We all live in a demanding
world that has little tolerance for those who cannot keep up – whatever the reasons may be. Generosity seems rare today.
We believe that to be good
followers of God means to be good servants to people—particularly those who are marginalized within our community. This means the economically disadvantaged; the mentally ill, the homeless; and those
finding themselves in short–term difficulties.
We also believe that people
of means hold a personal responsibility to serve the “least of these” in our community, making us a more compassionate
society. We have found that real, and long-lasting change for most people, comes
from walking people through life, rather than just educating them about what to avoid.
Thank you for your personal involvement
and your donations, supporting our Still Waters Ministries. You are giving hope to those who need us.
Your contributions are designated to these efforts and will not be
used for any other purpose or for resale.
On behalf of our poor and homeless community in Pottstown, thank you again for your donations! We
